Whooo!!!
If you haven't already downloaded this demo on ps3 or 360, go get it! If you have already played it, tell us what you think!
So far I'm loving it. I'm happy with the system overall and I really like the physics of it. The takedown tier system is really cool too. As soon as my girl is done playing guitar hero I'm going to up the difficulty and beat some more ass.
Up to this point, I've won by 3 flash KO's, 1 "rocked" KO, 2 armbars, and one kamura. I'd like to land a rear naked choke, but thats a really tough posistion to get into.
Anyone else played this?
This is game is awesome. I've been playing as Muay Thai rua all night on the PS3. I'm able to pull off some Tony Jaa type knee
and elbow attacks

The two ring girls aren't bad either

I'm totally digging the replays after the fights and between rounds. Awesome

IMHO the announcing and crowd sound effects are spot on. I'm loving the control system, it seems very natural to me. The physics in the game are very very very good. I'm also impressed with the variety of animations for knock downs and knock outs WHOAA! I learned how to do the run followed by a knee to the face at about 4:00 a.m. this morning (EST) OMG

The Brazilian Jujitsu ground game is tight.
Another trip on this game is fighting at the 3d angles and the collisions between the fighters as they clash trying to attack at the same time. Its looks very good and realistic. The same attack as you are circling or moving to left or right has slightly different animations with more-or-less realistic impact on the other fighter.
I cannot wait to get the full game

I only hope the customized fighter profiles are portable, and that replays can be saved and shared.
Take Fight Night Round 3 add Judo, Brazilian Jujitsu, Kickboxing, and Wrestling, better physics and more realistic crowds, a fairly legitimate referee and U have UFC 2009. The blood system is pretty accurate too!
Sometimes you end up with the opponents blood on you. The fighters scar differently, The cut system looks pretty damn realistic. Also if you work on different parts of the opponents body it will start to get bruised red, swolen, totally kewl

I'm diggin the stamina meters as well. The more damage an attack has it effects the your stamina, If you get hit while your stamina is low it could result in one hit knock outs or knock downs. The more Stamina you have the more effective your combos seem to be (I'm not quite sure on this) but it seems like it.
The camera angles in the game IMHO are also well done, lots of different angles to see the fighters, crowd, referree, announcers, and videographer from.
4 Me this is the perfect fighter to play when not playing VF. They balance each other perfectly. What I don't get from VF I would get from this game, and what I don't get from this game I would get from VF.
I can't wait to start sponsoring tournaments that feature both VF and UFC 2009
