I didnt do that. Although I avoided the strongest fighters when I thought I wouldnt be up for it. I finished career with 91 overall.

Yep, I averaged between 44-60 points during sparring sessions. No intentional losses. I ended up 33-6 (something like that)
and my guy was 90 overall. I level 3 on Muay Thai and Judo
and can submit anybody in the game. I never try to submit early in the match. I use the striking and the kicking game to bring their stamina and health lower than mine. Then I start the ground game. I still haven't played the game on the highest possible difficulty yet. Once I'm finished with the highest possible difficulty, then I should be ready to go online and see what I can learn there

The only thing that really sux about retiring, is that you cannot go back and change hair styles, knee, or ankle equipment.

Haha. I have a mohawk, thanks for letting me know, i've been lazy and never changed out of my default white gear. Well, also the text is so small that i didn't bother to try and read who my sponsors were, or what it prompted me to do at the different option screens. Honestly, because of the small unreadable text, i've completely skipped the customization/sponorship part of the game. I've never read an email on it, i don't read the pre or post fight memos....etc. Hopefully this is something future games could address

The text isnt THAT small man, its definately readable. Either you have a very small tv or bad eyesight.

My TV is 32". Its not the size, its the resolution. I noticed that recent update made PSN shop use the same nearly unreadable small font. Its readable, but only barely. I bet its been some time since you have played on CRT TVs.

If you did'nt do the e-mail thing, customization thing or sponsor thing, you missed out on about 1/4 of training mode Although it wasn't necessary it did add to the immersion!
and you can design some pretty slick looking trunks with Sponsor patches. After U retire you can change trunks and create new designs. Just no hair style changes, body type changes, knee or ankle support changes.

You are right. They make that text with the assumption that game is connected to at 720p. SDTV which I think is 640x480 res is gonna treat that text real funky. some SDTV it might be small and readable, others it my be small and fuzzy (unreadable).

Dude, you need to get to Walmarts, Bestbuy or somewhere and pick up a HDTV , UFC 2009 and VF5 look like completely different games on HD. Not exaggerating. I've seen them both on SDTV and you're missing a lot. Really!

And I think Fight Night Round 4 can take advantage of 1080p. So if you get that on SDTV its really gonna suck.

Nah, I have a small shitty SDTV and an old CRT monitor that I use when the woman is watching TV.

The text size is readable for me in both Fight night and UFC 2009, the only game I remember having troubles with the text size is Dead Rising.

The people having troubles should either get to the opticians or buy an HDTV
