I thought it was $15 a month INCLUDING the games.

That's pretty fucked up then that it's $15 a month.

Still, if you think $15 x 12 = $180 = 1 year of OnLive it's still cheaper than buying either an xbox or a ps3 (or even both).

You must remember that OnLive is also a console and I suppose is intended to replace the need for consoles.

Because you only play a console you brought for one year? crazy

I can't see how it can work. They can't possibly make this cheap enough to be appealing at this stage of this Gen without bankrupting themselves pretty fast.

Yes over time OnLive would be more expensive than having bought a console but short term it's cheaper.

OnLive will let you be able to buy PS3,360 and PC games.

Therefore it's designed to monopolise the gaming market.

What is there not to get?

They won't have any exclusive games and there is no support from any Japanese studio as far as I know. It doesn't make sense to me in any way.

I guess the people who love lag so much that they want it in their single-player games will just rejoice. Instead of Achievements and Trophies, players will get Accomplishments. The first one will always be "Owned by lag - 5"

Have you ever played MAG on PS3? The game uses dedicated servers to make 128v128 players virtually lag free.

From what I hear OnLive servers (there will be multiple) are far beyond that of MAGs.

When MAG was being announced I said "yeh this game will lag like hell"; it doesn't.

I believe OnLive could be something huge.
