What happened at the qualifier in Sweden?
Group D looks really tough, can't wait to play all these strong players!
They decided to have the qualifier in Skellefteå in a LAN there. The place is roughly equivalent of north pole. Its 12 hours from Stockholm and over 20 hours from south of Sweden (where for example KiwE lives). They gave the information of the tournament 2 days in advance. In addition with "If there is not enough participants the tournament might be cancelled". They haven't answered any additional inquiries about anything WCG-related the whole summer.
As a result, no good VF-player bothered with the whole thing. The qualifier was supposed to have been last weekend, but we havent heard anything about a VF qualifier being organised.
ps. For extra fun, click the finnish flag icon in the link above (blue cross, white backgrnd). Thats supposed to be official WCG site of Finland.
