Dunce Item

    Ok I'm pretty new to vf4 evo. I've had it a while but never really got into it. Well I'm reading your item FAQ and see Lau's dunce item which requires me to get thrown more than 2x the round numbers and lose the match. I cannot get this item! I've gone down to some of the lesser arcades in quest mode and let the 4th or 5th dan characters toss me around all day. I've had more than 11 throws against me over the course of 3 rounds and lost the match. Can someone please explain what I'm doing wrong here? Do you have to lose the match to a throw as well?

    You have to be at least 2nd Dan in order to get a Dunce item. Have you already met that prerequisite?

    Yes, I'm at veteran status. Do you have to lose the match with a throw? Usually I stand around guarding and I either lose by time out or they hit me with low sweeps.

    You don't have to lose to a throw, but you typically have to lose by KO, not TO.

    The best way to do this if you're really desperate for the item is just setup a dummy 2 player versus match, provided you have another 2+ dan character to play with, and keep throwing yourself.

    Just be careful not to lose to 3 excellents or you'll end up with tutenkhamen's mask.
