Numbers refer to the gray number of the left column where all inptus are 1F each.

    E.g. for Akira
    Akira [2][6][P][P]
    16-19

    ,1 [6][P]
    16,1 [P]

    works

    ,1 [6][P]
    19,1 [P]

    works

    ,2 [6][P]
    15,1[P]

    also works

    ,1 [6][P]
    15,1[P]

    does not work.

    ,2 [6][P]
    19,1 [P]

    does not work.

    Akira [2][6][P][P]
    16-19

    Akira [6][6][P]+[K] [P]+[G]
    18-22

    Akira [K]+[G]![K]
    0

    Lei Doku [P]+[K] [P]+[G]
    16-20

If people can post the Just frames and moves with strict input requirements I can add them to the original post.

    Sick thread !!!!!

Knowing you have a 4/5 frames windows to do some moves is nice. I will try to provide some screenshot to help your thread look fashion [IMG]

    Jean
    [4][6][P]+[K][K]
    23-27

    [4][6][P]+[K][K][P]
1-18 (only 1-14 where [4][6][P]+[K][K] is done with grey 27)

    [4][6][P]+[K][K][P][P]
    1-32

    [4][6][P]+[K][K][P][P][K]
    1-46

    [4][6][P]+[K][K][P][P][K][P]
    1-58

    [4][6][P]+[K][K][P][P][K][P][K]
69-72 (where all previous moves were done 1F apart, or F102-105 where [6][P]+[K] was done on F0.)

e.g. You can have 23,1,1,1,58,12 or 23,1,1,1,1,69 and still get the whole string.

However, final attack doesn't depend on timing for first [K], therefore if first [K] is done on F27, final attack window is grey 65-68.

    [4][3][P]+[K][K]
    18-24

    [4][3][P]+[K][K][6][P]
1-15 (1-13 when prior hit done ALAP)

    [4][3][P]+[K][K][6][P][4][6][K]
    2-26

i.e. Where [3][P]+[K] occurs on F0, final input can occur on up to F60.

    tldr

    [4][6][P]+[K](on F0)[K](F24-28)[P](up to F43)[P](up to F59)[K](up to F75)[P](up to F89)[K](F102-105).

    [4][3][P]+[K][K](F19-25)[6][P](up to F39)[4][6][K](up to F60).

noodalls, just for curiosity, can you determine the input windows on Kage's [6][2][3][P][+][K]![P]![K]![K]

  7. noodalls

    noodalls Well-Known Member Bronze Supporter

    Where [3][P]+[K] falls on F0.
    [P] F15-18
    [K] F30-33
    [K] F47-48

Earlier inputs don't affect timing of later inputs.

    You can do it as

    x 1 [3][P]+[K]
    15 1 [P]
    15 1 [K]
    15 1 [K]

to keep the timing between inputs the same. This is 225bpm on a metronome.

    Kage

    [4][K]+[G] [P]+[G] F24-27
[4][6][K]+[G][K][K] F34-36 (where first [6][K]+[G] input is counted as F0). If you delayed the second [K] as much as possible (input on F24) the final hit input window is shifted by a frame (F35-37).

<span style="text-decoration: line-through">I believe noodalls meant to write 16 frames between Kage's DPC inputs, not 15. 15 frames x3 inputs would be 45 frames and too early for the final hit. Also, 16 frames between inputs is 225bpm on a metronome.</span>

Looking closer at noodall's post, I see that what he wrote is actually 16 frames between inputs. 15 frames of no input, then button presses on the 16th frame. My mistake.

16F including the input, 15F not including the input.

    Thanks noodalls!

In VF4 Final Tuned, where the Dragon Punch Combo was introduced, there were two valid input timing patterns, as shown in this old flash trainer I created:

    http://virtuafighter.com/flash/hishoukyaku/

So you're confirming that the second input pattern is no longer valid?

It appears there is just one consolidated set of input windows.

    E.g. I can hit

    F15,30,47
    F15,30,48
    F15,33,47
    F15,33,48
    F18,30,47
    F18,30,48
    F18,33,47
    F18,33,48

for the three commands and still get the string.

I can send you a spreadsheet with the command windows like you have for VF4FT, just can't find a way to post it here.

    Nice post!
To be sure I understand the "first inputs don't affect the last one" comment.

    Is it like:
"even if I hit the first input a bit late I still have the same window for the last input"

which would mean you can keep the same rythm for the input between first and last hit.

    Or

"I hit the first input late, but the moment I have to hit the last input is still the same, so I have to go a bit faster to compensate"

May be it will help me get the Jean guard break 100% lol.

    This.

    @Chanchai, perhaps "one day" [IMG]

    Ooh, feature-creep suggestions:

    * 10-times in a row challenge (dies when you fail)
    * 10-times in a row trainer (persists and counts your success rate--and also starts with 2-3 test runs first)
    * Longest consecutive streak scoreboard (yeah, I doubt you'll do this but we love scoreboards!)
    * MEDLEY MODE! (You go through a random or scripted order of different just-frames, and you're given some sort of prompt to synchronize your timing at the start of each)

That said... I'll leave it there, just simply "one day" doing any more of these exercises (even 1) is awesome in itself ^_^

    Taka [4][P]+[K] input on F0
[P] on F30 will still combo. (F30 input blocked on F49, F31-32 no move comes out, F33 jab is done, block on F56).

    Unstrict.

    Lei [3][3][P]
    Input F2-30.
    Combos for inputs F1-21

    Lei doku [K][K]
    Input F2-17.
    Combos for all inputs.

    [4][P]+[K][P]
    Input F2-41
    Combo for inputs F2-36

    [3][P]+[K][P]
    Inputs F2-29
    Combo for inputs F2-22
