I'm no tournament level player, but I definitely have a ton of fun with fighting games. I jump around and have tried most mainstream franchises, and like most of them. I first started by learning Ultra Street Fighter IV just before Street Fighter V was going to launch. Unfortunately, SFV kind of stinks, so I began to play a bunch of other games.
Jumping around to try out Mortal Kombat X, King of Fighters XIV, Injustice 2, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev, Dead or Alive 5 Last Round, and Tekken 7, I've experimented with many series. My favorite fighting game would have to be Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike but I'm a big fan of Tekken 7 as well. While I missed the boat by a few years, Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown is a blast.
My favorite character in a fighting game would be Makoto from 3rd Strike, followed by Leo in Tekken. In Virtua Fighter, I was confident I would play either Pai, Aoi, Vanessa, or Akira. That changed after trying the game out. Aoi and Vanessa are awesome, but not for me. Pai is not as fun to me as I had hoped. Akira is cool, but my favorite is Eileen followed by Jean.
Anyway, I hope to continue learning fighting games and enjoying them as they come. Here's to Virtua Fighter 6 someday, and the tiny monkey-chick Eileen to return as well!Interact
