The Special Cup is a one day offline PS4 tournament for VF5US. 152 participants registered for the February 10, 2024 event with an additional 32 spots available on the day of the event. The day is not only focused on Ultimate Showdown, but participants and spectators can also play the recently released VF3TB online. There will be two streams for the event: 1) a course on VF3TB online; and 2) the VFeS (VF5US outside of Japan) Final Tournament for the top 8 players.

In the gameplay trailer for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, it was revealed that Virtua Fighter 3 Team Battle will be playable within the game (4 min 37 sec mark). Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is releasing on January 26, 2024 - Akai

Summer Jam 2023 took place In the greater Philadelphia region (Cherry Hii, New Jersey) on September 1st to 3rd. Taking 1st place is VFnumbers (LE) with KDQ players Assassin (BR) and Bushido (TA) taking 2nd and 3rd place respectively. No stream was available, but matches from the tourney were recorded. Will post in thread when available online.

The "Uramawari Setup" causes the fighter's rising attack from the ground to strike in the wrong direction. For a while now, VFnumbers have been testing different ways for his main character Lei Fei to cause this quirky situation. Now he has made a series of short videos, showing how the entire cast can cause the uramwari!

Update April 1, 2022 - Harada's Bar invited both VF5US Chief Producer Seiji Aoki and pro player Tokido to discuss a variety of topics. The first episode was released on March 26th and the second episode on April 2nd.

Arya from That Blasted Salami (TBS) in collaboration with WIreman, Seidon, and Blessy, created short overviews for all 19 characters in VF5US.
