Teaser trailers often are followed by months of silence, they're just there to pique our interest. Street Fighter V went something like 6 months between teaser and a followup trailer/news IIRC.

I hope Sega takes full control over the e-sports event. No outside TOs or any interferance needed.. Instead of a circuit of stupid garbage ass tourneys to earn qualifier points like what Capcom does. You want in, you just come and play. There are enough lame gate keepers in other fgc communities we don't need it in VF.

      Oh I totally agree.

I hope it keeps the the whole bulk of garbage that was affiliated with EVO or anything like that away. I hope it stays open and welcoming.

The last thing we need is those people.

EVO isn't the only group that has garbage in it as well. Its also poisoning the VF community as well. Mr. Wizard is a shitty person because there was proof and he got right punished rightfully soo... People who dog pile on someone because of something that was said with no proof is just as shitty. The mere accusation is enough. No proof needed.

Jason, I haven't mentioned any name in my post and I honestly won't mention any even though I have a few and some of those few have actually been proven to be a**holes outside the if Evo fiasco.

It is not individual. It's collective. The misdeeds of some have overshadowed the good deeds of others and while I understand a good number of decent people lost their living because of that, it was very inevitable for Evo to die anytime given the amount of trash happening behind the scene.

Hence please, don't give those few scums the chance to ruin it again.

Any chances we will hear news about new VF during the rounde table?

Man how would it be awesome to begin the next genaration console with a brand new VF game.

It has been stated that SEGA will not attend the roundtable as it doesn't go with their already planned marketing plans.

So I guess that's a no unless they are in for a surprise which I highly doubt.

If they want to focus on their own planning, I think this game is a major release and not just a random port, but I am getting too carried away.

After watching the latest stream from @Juicebox_FGC I am adding "knowledge checks" to the Competitor-related shortcomings list. He made an interesting point about how his opponents frames matter even outside of the typical punishable/safe/advantage-on-block trichotomy for other fighting games.
