    Any tips? I use Akira.

    Akira(final stage) totally owns me and is driving me nuts.
    As a matter of fact, just reaching the dojo is an accomplishment in itself.

    I must say, sega did a really good job with the AI this time round. All previous VF versions were too easy.

    Can't really tell you much, just get ready to counter attack.
    Shoot.
    Lets see has anyone else seen CPU use good techniques??
    I saw sarah to p,p,p, k-> g (cancel) -> b+p+g
    k with guard cancel 2 times in a row.

    akira is even more insane with
    k, g(cancel) - d/f + p+K, shoulder ram, DLC
    guard break -> d/f,d/f +p , p (with guard cancel), to DLC
    d+p, d+p, evade my attack, knee, knee, DLC.

    This is cool. I think it catches because we don't expect CPU to do such things but it nice to see it. I actually would like to see difficulty turned up a bit later on. Seems like only PAI / Wolf / akira are only real trouble makers for me in the game at current level.

    just got back from broadwaycity.com. I moved the overhead lights to remove the glare and positioned my fingers as Hiro taught. Keep you fingers on buttons at all time. I had a ball going for wall moves against Sarah Pai, Lei and and Wof. Against Kage and Jeffry I practised moving them to edge of ringa nd proven RO strats. Remember to let Jacky and Sarah complete their combos. They push you around as you guard,*Ugh*. scary. I Kage interupted every high risk jump or hop attack and he pushes to RO. Amazing CPU. Aoi remains centered and is beautiful to watch. Akira is relentless. on the way home we were stopped at BPT and sent back up town by cop. He said Bomb, ferry and tunnel closed and our driver scooted up FDR and across 23 to Lincoln Tunnel. We came into Staten Island across Gothels B. what a trip. I did NOT mind though because I had print out of Jacky Vf4 strat guide found here. through SEARCH feature. Thx adamYUKI!!! also something from Yupa and notes from email Lion chain letter w/ good tips from High Impact Lion BigCat! The buttons tired my hands last week ( my first play at VF4) until remembered what Hiro showed me and for entire session of 3 hours today they felt good. sticks are not bad for NYC arcade too. fixed Throw loink and movelist for Lion page FAQ. d/f+P+G ->f+P-> sidestep->d/f+K-> starts nice with Lion's back at wall. ;>)
    Missed Wall Throw ( u/f+P+G against Wolf) Nailed Akira with u/f+P+G and before I finished smile he slammed me against wall 2X. *ugh* TED played Lei and Joseph just kibitzed.

    Well lets see,

    p, throw
    low p, throw

    That works for me /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif, seriously they block or get hit by the high punch then they just guard or stand and let you throw them, they also often duck the HP then stand up and get thrown,seems to work for low punch as well.

    They do occasionally attack but it's rare, note I don't think this works so well versus Dural, I've tested this on two machines and it works fine has anybody else found this to work/ not work?

    On Jeffry and after, becareful of characters with low throws!! The number of times I get machine gun smashed after a whiffed low punch...ouch.

    If nobody's mentioned it before, you can often use PK combos over and over until KO. It doesn't always work. If the first 2 or 3 PK's hit, you can usually keep doing it. Got to Dural using this.

    I used PK's a lot, and you're right it doesn't always work. Vanessa's Defensive Stance makes this combo ineffective (same with Jerky), and Aoi tends to start reversing after awhile. Works wonders on Shun and Wolf.

    As far as Akira is concerned, I reversed a lot and backdashed a lot. It's like every attack he throws out has zero recovery rate, so he's constantly attacking. So I try to stay out of range and mix it up with PK's and DE's, and cover myself with a mid reversal if blocked. Sometimes it works, other times...
