THE LAST TOURNAMENT 2001

The last high level tournament of 2001 will take place the weekend of 15-16 December at Casino, London UK.

This will be the last public display of expert fighting skills for this year.
Previously unseen and unrecorded strategies and tactics will be seen.
As we all know everybody likes to leave their best till last.

If you have never been to a Dynamic League tournament before this, is the one to come to.
If you intend to participate please be aware that the pace will be much faster and the tactics more brutal and the onslaught more relentless than ever before.

Is there any chance that you could have a *real* tournament with a round robin qualifier and playoff eliminations to determine the winner instead of the normal way you do things of just queing up, challenging, and keeping track of win streaks?

Having an elimination tournament is more valid with regards to determining the best player IMO.

 

Give us the name of the *real* Champion of Virtua Project.
Put him in a Virtua Project t-shirt and base ball cap (colours, nice light blue and white perhaps) and send him as a sacrifice to appease the Dynamic League Empire. Then perhaps we may consider not to increase your taxes for 2002.

The UK players are humble in their superiority.

I hope that if we capture or kill bin laden that there's still someone left willing to mail you anthrax. You are a poor representative to speak on your country's behalf. I'm sure Llanfair will write up a nice summary of how the virtuaproject rumble cherry league tournament comes out, but thats still a few months down the road...

I'd just like to see how Hatim, Ryan, et al. would do in a proper elimination style tournament.

Derrick, how many people have been showing up for the dynamic league events? Are they growing in popularity, staying the same, or are fewer people coming to play in them now vs. when VF4 first appeared?

That's why I'm asking Derrick to specify number of players that are registering at the dynamic league events... If it's just the same 10 guys fighting each other, what's the point? An elimination bracket gives a better indication of who was the best on any given night.

I don't know. Too early to say yet. There are a lot of students who will be coming and going seasonally.
December may be quiet then it could pick up again in spring.
