360 ex2 stick issue

i'm starting to notice the shaft on my week old ex2 is starting to lean to the right when left in neutral. this is slightly effecting any double tap input to the right side....eg /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif is sometimes coming out as /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif.

my question is...can this "lean" problem be fixed...and if not con replacement part for hori stick be obtained from somewhere?

 

I know this should be irrelevent, but do you always play VF from one side? Do you always play 1P or 2P?

I prefer 2P, but force myself to play 1P more so that I can perform moves without prejudice in both directions.

 

yea i use both sides...it's cool tho, the problem hasn't got any worse...YET

 

yup, mine has a bit of dead space now too. anyone brave enough to open it up and see if it can be fixed by something simple like tightening screws.

 

Maximum how is your stick now, has the problem gotten worse?

 

it's fine thanks...not really progressed, there's a noticiable dead zone where the stick will lean to the right but it's not proving to be a major issue during input.

i'm investing in a modded sanwa ex2 anyway...so this stick will eventually be my backup.

 

The only problem I've noticed on mine at all is that the B button seems like it might start to stick on me, which is not good. I can deal with the stick having a slightly floaty deadzone so far but the damned buttons going out on me is going to annoy me to no end.
