[6/28/08] Seattle Washington! PNW Majors!

Hey there fellow VFers! Wanted to let you all know about the FG tournament that's going down on the 28th of June, at the University of Washington in Seattle! It will be a one day tourney for us in the PNW region and for anyone else who wants to test themselves against their PNW brethren.

Location- Walker Ames Room, Kane Hall @ the University of Washington in Seattle.

Date - June 28th, 1:00-10:00 or until finish

Late Registration starts at 12:00 PM
First Tournaments start at 1:00.

Preregistration can be done through our website listed below.

Games-

Virtua Fighter 5
Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike
Super Street Fighter II Turbo
Guilty Gear: Accent Core
Marvel vs Capcom 2
Capcom Vs. SNK II

Cost-

10$ per game.
5$ late registration fee at the door.

The website has updates, driving directions,maps (coming soon) rules, games lists, a schedule (coming soon), and preregistration, where you can get a spot early, save 5$ by not registering the day of, and see who else has signed up to compete. Preregistering will also help us estimate the size of the attendance, and help us to plan more ahead of time making for a better tournament.

Hmm, hmm, never been to Washington before, hear it's a nice place too.

 

I could possibly make this event. Seattle is about a 10-12 hour drive for me and that's right about the time I can take a long weekend from work. I'll update my status as the date draws nearer.

Cool to see some post in here and we are hoping to see some out of towners for VF.

The Seattle scene is a pretty good size, but could use more people. Portland are the heavy hitters(imo) for the NW. We aren't that far behind tho'.

Considering that the Seattle scene is pretty new to VF, it would be great to see other people from different regions and to see other characters and other playing styles.

Hopefully some of you guys can come out.

 

I'm definitely gonna be there. Thought I'd give this a bump since the date is drawing ever closer.
