a-cho cup Kakutouishin

Most of you probably won't care, but a-cho recently had their big tournament featuring KOF 2002, Samurai Showdown 0, Zero 3, 3rd strike, GGXX reloaded, and of course, VF4FT.

The FT tourney features a large number of teams, and many of the well known players were present. I listened to a webcast of some random guy carrying a mic with him to the tourney, but here are the results for the top two.

Winner: Team Real Bout Kindergarden
Yorou Kage (Kage), Yutenji (Lau), Kumichyou (Wolf)

Runner Up, Team Maybe Something it's There
Nuki (Socks) (Aoi), (Super)Homestay Akira (Akira), (Super) Minami Jacky (Jacky)

Points of interest: The participating team can not contain duplicate characters. It also seems that Minami Akira is now a Jacky player. Rumor has it that he lost his Daihao Akira card.....

 

Hmm yeah I was on the A-Cho site yesterday and noticed that 2nd A-Cho cup was the 19th...looking forward to the media.

I bet that Wolf carried the entire team cause those other characters are low tier man.....

yea it's true that a-cho rules state that a team can't have 2 of the same character. So minami decided to play Jacky. But he does not know anything about Jacky, nor does he plan to switch to him. This information was written in an online diary that Kazu read. Who's diary? I forgot to ask lol

just found out from Kaz. It was written in his girlfriends online diary. She plays VF too. If anyone saw the Super Battle Opera video with Heruru and the 2 girls on his team. Well remeber that gorgeous Pai player. Well that's minami's girlfriend. Damn she is hot!

I don't think he lost his card. Just moving away from VF. According to Kazu's source. It seems after this a-cho tournament. Minami has QUIT VF. He dropped off Homestays team and has no plans to join any other team for Beat Tribe and other up and coming tourneys. If this is true, it absolutely breaks my heart. I guess it will be confirmed in the coming months. I guess he has moved on to Tekken 5. He has been seen playing that a lot and also I know he has been playing 2D games as well. I believe Nuki is his sparring partner for CvS 2 and SF3: 3rd Strike. Damn I was really hoping to see him in action at beat tribe. I guess he just lost his card then, haven't seen anything from him lately.
