about demonlord/stormlord ranks

if i want to get promonted from demonlord/stormlord i need a chain of 10 wins, but do i break that chain if i lose to any of the shadowlord, battlelord, thunderlord or dragonlord opponents, i.e. those which are not demonlord/stormlord?

i'm asking that because i got a chain of 10 wins but i didn't get a ranking match. also, i got two consecutive demotion matches at demonlord rank, how is that possible? and why can't i get to fight the other same branch opponents than the same rank ones? for example if i'm demonlord i won't ever see adepts, masters, grandmasters, shadowlords or battlelords. only other demonlords. this doesn't bother me but i'm just curious. /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

sorry, 10 wins against a same ranked opponent promotes you. 2 losses in a row also demotes you.. these are all i can answer. i know when you get to stormlord path, you don't fight people on the other branch.
