another one bites the dust

I got the phone call everybody dreads, a friend told me that they just can't get into vf4 and is going to stick with playing tekken 4

 

Wll at least you pushed them to try the game...
That's what I tried to do with my friends, but a lot of them continued to play Tekken 4...
They said:'even if it's crap, it's still Tekken...' /versus/images/icons/confused.gif

 

anyone who "cant get into the game" is basically a pussy. No offense, but either way..it all comes down to it.

 

no offense i doubt that they're pussies, its just that the game is more in depth than other games, and if you never played VF before, its gonna be a bit hard understanding VF, i mean most of my friends play MvC2 and Tekken tag/ Tekken 4, and with MvC2 as im sure you all know there always unavoidable button mashing, and somehow Tekken is a bit slow compared to VF so naturally a person that's gonna play VF for the first time will have a problem adjusting to game mechanics, all my friends didn't like VF4 because of how deep the game is, they just can't hack it, but one out of all my friends wanted to give VF 1 more chance so i taught him some stuff that i learned here in (thanks) and now he's pretty good were on an equal level of playing, and now i pulled another one of my friends in VF and he's progressing well, bottom line their not pussies they just lack understanding towards the game. /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif

 

its all a matter of preference really. how much time you want to invest into the game, how much time you HAVE to invest in the game, and whether or not the game looks/plays interestingly to you. this subjects been beaten to death.........

 

Speaking of people that do or don't play VF4. gaishou, do you still play VF4? Are you ever going to come to one of our gatherings?

 

Well, Ben was actually in the VF scene since one and was very hard core into the game in 3....I don't know what happened...

i would like to, but for some reason, i think i'd feel strange. i dunno....get my assa kicked anyways. and yes i do still play, but at crotchies, land of bad sticks....

 

Gaishou, what do you mean get your ass kicked by us. Remember when we played at Rockies? You whupped me hard. I haven't gotten any better than before probably. You can probably still kick my butt. Besides, come so I can play you in a game I can beat you at. KI 1 and 2. lol.

 

He was always bigamer - played both tekken and vf...I really have no idea...I am hoping to beat the common sense into him when I see him next.
