    WOLF Anti--BS Video

Ok, i'm alittle tired of all the wolf dryness floating around the forum. so here's something i put together to make him seem more useable. sorry the editing is alittle rushed with spelling mistakes n crap, but i got my UNI projects to do instead of playing this dry game.

most of the things wont differ from FT strats, some of the more obivious things missing are B+K setups which OWN HARD in ft. --- ah well, the rest of UK hasnt even touched the game yet.

I remember you telling me about those setups a while ago, good to see them in vid form now. The whiffed lp on block works a charm ^_^
A nice tutorial vid for all them up and coming Wolves out there!

Nice vid! Especially the low punch whiff scenarios, very useful.

Great work on the vid. I now never want to whiff a lp against wolf again /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif.

nice, but i really dont agree with the oki setups

backdash charge shoulder only good against someone who immediately mashes rising after knockdown. A delay rising would easily beat it, or just delay get up considering that shoulders horrible whiff recovery. The backdash itself is kinda obvious also.

other than the oki setups, really nice vid

pheonix, yeah, some of the stuff in the vid looks bad because i had to actually play the game on lag as i was capping it. the backdash shoulder charge there looks silly, but normally you have the ability to cancel it out and chose another option if the opponent also chooses. the reason why it's a good oki whiff tool is because of it's distance even at long range whiff, and it's dummy options. if the opponent is forced to stand up and block, or evade, wolf also has long range catches to deal with it. it's really a good tool imo. however there are lots of choices on oki.

for some reason i had to backdash twice in order for kage's kick to whiff (air hits again?) 0__0

the SS interuptions are highly effective though, and i think it's quite easy to time. /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Nice vid, I didn't think the editing felt rushed - was just fun to see trainingmenus here and there =)

Hi BK, one small nitpick vs kage:

I don't see why a kage player would evade after having 9k+g defended. (even situation)

Most kages would do 8k, 2p, or do another 9k+g in anticipation of an opponent's 2p. Of course these aren't set responses and the kage player may react in a certain way based on conditioning during the match, but nice vid nonetheless.

Edit: I did see the response vs 2p. Sorry.

really? haha, i never actually checked the stats on that move, it's even on block? (LOL)

ah well, you get the idea anywayz, the message is that you can use it during your opponent's disadvantage if they try ETEG or low P.

(lol at the kage fakeness ---- i always wondered why i see elbows after that move /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif)

Nice vid and great things for our wolf players here!
You prove to have a lot of knowledge of vf! These anti-lp lowthrows are really nice!

Hmm, you know that in an even situation, the opponent has enough time to block [9][K]+[G] even he had done [2][P] right? Don't let Kages in your area abuse you unnecessarily.

nice vid bk__, just comes to show you´re the man when it comes to talking wolf.

btw how come i didn´t see any shining wizards in the vs 2p section?

again props on the surprise exchange section, gotta love that force crouch combo, i have to admit i use force crouch setups vs bt opponents as well, i think that´s the easiest way of scoring a back throw

(Bk haha all this time you thought Kage's 9 K&G was disadvantage, ouch /versus/images/graemlins/crazy.gif )

shining wizards are in the same situation as all the Low P switches. nothing need to be said about guaranteed damage (although there are some nifty strats on failed SWs)

btw, the take a closer look at what move is doing the force crouching, you'll realise the wall combo is a VERY special case, and the low throw is guaranteed as far as i know, where as other force crouchers wont be /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

to all about the low P whiffs on block ---

dont forget to realize that most of these, infact all of the situations are when you are at quite bad disadvantage (i.e reverse nitaku) , this means the opponent will always have much better choices on you so it's not really a "logical stratergy". it's just abit of fun against low P panics /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

i think jeffry also has the same kind if stance proporties as wolf.
