Anyone Else Afraid of the 3 Red Lights?

My friend just sent his 360 back for the THIRD time yesterday. I've already had to send mine back once.
Now every time I turn it on, I shake at the thought of seeing those three dreadful lights.
Whenever I hear about cool games coming out, like Fallout 3 or GOW2, I always think "Will my 360 make it that long?" ( I think my 360 is getting close to the end of its warranty)

Just got mine back last week. I used to be happy with my 360 until I got RROD'd, now I'm nervous everytime I use it too.

 

That RROD is some bs. I got my Xbox bout a year ago and it's never happend to me before but i'm always afraid of it seeing how it happens to almost everybody. Currently i'm waiting on my giftcard from circuit city cause my Xbox decided it didn't want to read any type of disc anymore, glad I got that warranty plan thing cause I probly woulda been screwed. But seriously, I don't know how long it takes for them to fix a RROD but they should give people a UPS next day air shipping lables or fedx, whatever they use. Cause makin people wait weeks is extra bogus. I even read somewhere not too long ago MS was having some kind of demo for a game or something like that and the Xbox they were using got the red rings during the demo lol, wtf man, it's just too ridiculous.

 

I just bought my 1st XBOX.
After reading the countless threads and horror stories of sending in xbox's, I decided to buy the BESTBUY warranty.

Now I simple take it 10 mins down the road to BB, get a new one and be done with it.

 

Worst console ever made.

 

RROD is easily fixable. Ive done it with like a few supplies and tools From radioshack. Just a matter of reseating and securig the heatsinks. Took me 30min instead of two weeks. If the LASER dies though, youre fucked and gotta replace it.
