1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. No problem. Aoi's my favorite in VF5, and I'm always looking for her vids.

Here's a site with nice vids of some cool Aoi fights. It's a kind of Japanese youtube site- I don't know how to download from them though... Anyway, enjoy!

I wonder, is there someone who does Vanessa like this?

Though this is an Aoi thread, here...

    http://vanemoto.pure.holy.jp/

This site specializes in Vanessa. Unfortunately, the videos aren't direct download- you have to download and install a Japanese downloader program (kinda like Flashget) to get the vids from filebank.co.jp. The password and username are given in the blog. The downloader works with Internet Explorer; I tried using with Mozilla and it wouldn't fly.

There are tons of character-specific blogs online- you just have to find what they call the characters in Babelspeak engrish (Aoi is 'Mallow', Sarah is 'Plate', Pai is 'Pie', etc). Strangely enough, some of the best pages I've seen with tons of content (and complete item lists with pics) are dedicated to Goh. ^_^

Actually, most of these videos (actually all of them) eventually make it onto hk-vf. So if you are not well versed in Japanese, simply check hk-vf every once in a while.

Or you can subscribe to the RSS feed of vfbbs which shows updates from all of these VF related blogs, including the ones given by gregor_thewolf.

I've seen tons of vids that have yet to make it to HK-VF. That's what drove me to look for individual site vids myself... I'm not that patient to wait for HKVF to get them. The link to the RSS feed is what I use as well to find updates.

    @ gregor_thewolf
If you know any Pai blog, could you give me a link, please?

    Hello, Cephiros_VII!

    http://zaizen.aki.gs/home.html

If you use Babelfish to translate this webpage and scroll down, you'll find a links gallery to various websites; many of them are character-specific. Unfortunately, I have checked the link to the 'Pie' (Pai) sites, and all three seem down or out. You can check the other links- there are so many, you probably will find what you are looking for somewhere there.

If it's just info on Pai, there's the VF5 Wiki page:

    http://www6.atwiki.jp/vf_wiki/

Once again, Babelfish is your friend. Translate the page so you can understand generally the links. To the left side, there are 'Character' and 'Item' links that provide info that's pretty updated, I think.

Sorry if I wasn't any more help. You DO have a pretty awesome Pai website already on your own... ^_^

I wonder what's happened to HK-VF.net? They haven't updated in, like, almost a week. Good thing I've been finding tons of vids elsewhere. The VFbbs RSS feed is your friend... ^_^

Hmm... no new movies on HK-VF.net since 8 dec makes me sad. It was the only source of good quality, downloadable movies. Someone on gabber said that vfchina.com was stealing the movie links.

Have you tried Google Language Tools? It's still in BETA, but somethims gives better results then babelfish.

VF.net movie rendering service has been disabled for some time due to the transition to Version B.

This is partly the reason why there have been no new movies, but also they haven't been updating.

Well, that's why I learned to look elsewhere. One shouldn't rely on one source for everything.
