I'm at the 8th arcade but I'm trying to finish up some old quest orders in the past arcades. One quest I can not seem to do is win in 10 seconds or less. I'm using Aoi and she's not exactly the strongest character in the game.. /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif Any suggestions?

Wait until you are on an open arena and backdash straight to the edge (the gimpy A.I. will follow unless it's Shun, in which case he might start drinking) wait 'til it gets near you and then just use a throw that switches sides for a cheap, fast ringout win.

Hmm.. Lei Fei doesn't have any throws that switches sides. Any suggestion how to win in 10 seconds or less with him?

Get into corner and use [6][4][P]+[G]. It is actually possible to knock someone out in under 10 secs though you just need a bit of luck and quick thinking.

for aoi, in addition to throws, you can also just YY inashi. not all of the YY inashis completely swtich sides, though, but most do.

Sigh! That's pretty hard to do. I will try it out. Thanks.

If all else fails you could try the cheap staggering trick of [6][6][K]>[6][6][K]>[6][6][K] etc or maybe even [P][P]>[2][K]>[6][6][K] etc and with any luck you'll be knocking your opponent a long way back and if playing in an arena without walls hopefully out for a ring out. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I found this very difficult do in arenas that have walls, although you can knock an opponent out in 10 seconds.

Anyway, in arenas without walls you can either run back and throw the opponent out with [1][P][G] or keep attacking with Aoi's combos, pushing the player back to their edge and over it. Combining the [P][P][P][2][K] and [6][P][P] combos with a few variations depending on what your opponent tries works (i recommend the [2][P][K] reversal as the opponent sweeps you as they stand up). You may have to reposition yourself a little as you reach the edge since your opponent will usually try to move away from it. Just sidestep with them. And keep pushing. This can be used more easily against some characters than others.
