What in the Blue hell, is SFIII 3rd Strike doing there? Damn, people miss their parries I guess*Me too* Anyway, Go Go, VF5R!

 

I guess they all started to wonder why the hell they was playing SF4 when there's better SF games out there.

 

3S is still highly played in Japan. It is also still a tournament game for Super Battle Opera.

 

Ha! Take that Street Fighter 4! Anyway - It's great to see VF5R keeping its popularity after nearly 9 months. It shows just how solid the fanbase is (Hint, hint, Sega). I hope that after version B comes out VF5R will rocket up those rankings again, and maybe Sega could use that incresed hype to release a "Certain game" to consoles.

I agree completely. That's what I've been thinking lately too: "Why am I playing SF4 when I can play 3rd Strike??". I'm glad to know that many SF players in Japan are (in a way) telling Capcom that they'd rather play a SF game that was released nearly 10 years ago instead of SF4 (Because 3S is so much better). No characters from 3S and no parrying in SF4?? Capcom... what happenend? You used to be cool. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

 

I wonder why Tekken is so popular? It doesnt have good charactor balance though, its always being top

 

more support for players (having a console release helps), more promotion, etc.

also i guess some people really don't like the ranking system in vf5r (which if you ask me is a silly reason to stop playing it).

vf5 and ggac right next to each other. i guess that makes me satisfied at this month's results.

 

Their wonky attack animations look better with motion blur?

 

Flashy characters and amazing support from Namco (Namco started working on T6BR right after they heard the complaints about T6).

Tekken 6BR is just an awesome game.

I was referring to the last boss, that Azarael or whatever it was called, not the game itself.

My eyesight really isn't that good, so I may have mistaken it for something else.

Seriously, it's good to see VF still up there and I'm not too surprised that SF4 has dropped that much.

I don't really understand other fighting games. Specifically the risk/reward ratio's of moves, character's etc... In some fighting games, they seem to be non-existent. It's like the makers themselves don't understand their own creation.

I think Sf4 is pretty good but I KNOW, in my heart of hearts, it's not even half as good as VF5R; and I haven't even played VF5R. VF is just too sick of a game to fuck with.

I don't doubt Tekken 6BR is pretty fun if you get into it, but R is where it's at. Not even debatable to me...

AND.. No KOF to be seen...
