    I know VF4 and EVO had a kind-a advice-type-statistics that
would let you know percentages of certain kinds of attacks, throws escapes, dashes etc.

Is post match stats analysis really useful, or am I just being nostalgic.

I'm thinking it would be useful to have a screen at the end of a match or a training session that would show post match, or post training stats.

For example, number of successful evades, evade attacks, throw escapes, throws (hi, low, mid), reversals, percentage or number of high, mid, and low attacks, average ring location, percentage of time retreating/advancing, percentage of time at advantage/disadvantage.

Would these be useful stats, or annoyance screens that no one would really use?

I for one would love it. Can't say it would be the least bit useful, but i'd still love it. It would be great to see what % of the match i was adv/dis.

Yeah, I also dont think they would be very useful (except maybe for opponents), but Id love to have it anyway /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif.

it'd be useful to remind me what I'm doing well/not so well, showing me what to focus more attention on.

Yea, I got trounced again at small gathering this weekend. I go back an look at the saved replay to see what I could have did better and where my mistakes were. But sometimes seeing stuff
layed out in numbers/percentages gives me a more complete picture. When I do "fight night round 3" the stats are very
    useful in post match analysis.

Sometimes the numbers jump out at you more than watching the match. Especially if the match appears well rounded on both players side.

The stats (I think) could help clarify things in VF that aren't necessarily obvious in the replay. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif I used the little stats we had in VF4 and EVO. They helped me (I think)
