Got it last night at midnight. I actually had to go to two stores. One for the hardcopy strategy guide, and the other to get the game. So I had to stand in to long lines last night in my little town. There were over 50-60 people in each line(at Midnight), which is a lot considering only 200 people live in my little city [IMG]

But this game is an absolute master piece [IMG] The graphics and scale are beyond belief. Every sound in the game from the horse sound nuances to the sound of material blowing in the wind are just amazing. Creed II, is even more immersive than the first. It has to have one of the best horse simulations ever found in a video game. The dust simulations are so real you can almost taste the dust in the air. [IMG]

The game has a grandeur and scale that has to be seen and played to be believed.

The Animus and user interface are off the hook [IMG]

Assassin's Creed is in my top 3 games of all times as it relates to production quality. I think Assassin's creed
is only second to Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid IV in terms of just sheer excellence of production.

IMHO Both of these games do some of the most innovative stuff
ever put in a computer game, and both push the PS3 to its limits. And Assassin Creed's diversity, magnitude, and quality
of NPC's is second to none [IMG] The lighting, shading, texture mapping, the shadows OMG! This is a fucking gorgeous
game [IMG] Nothing against Modern warefare fans out there, I've seen Modern warefare, and the graphics and sound don't even come close to this game.

I only played it for a couple of hours early this morning [IMG]
I can tell already its going to be a classic, and like the
single player Metal Gear Solid 4 experience, its going to be
    FN AWESOME!

Maaann... I still haven't finished the first one. I found it really tedious and repetitive about half way through, but I'm forcing myself to play because it looks so damn gorgeous.

    I'll probably get AC2 when I'm done.

Repetitiveness is not an issue in II.

    Gorgeous is the word,

Yesterday I found myself wandering around just looking at the sights! Checking out the professional women [IMG] and my date with Christine had me LMAO [IMG] The hand to hand combat in Creed II is pretty kewl, it really does feel like UR throwin haymakers [IMG] The AI for the guards seems more sophisticated as well. I'm fuckin enjoyin this game, the climbing is definitely more fluid, but it also looks even more realistic than the Creed I. There seem to be more animations for the climbing and roof hopping. Going to shops to buy stuff is crazy too because it just adds so much more dimension to the game. I'm currently running an paperboy errand mission, and this almost gives me the feel of the 'job' component in the
Way of the Samurai Series (which btw is also awesome) and the voice acting for the letters, and documents, and conversations
just adds so much more dimension to the game, its hard to put down.

This Italian thing is catchy. I'm starting to talk to my girl with an Italian accent [IMG] IMHO the storytelling in this game is just excellent and if you listen to the NPC's they add just the right amount of ambient information to the plot. Fortunately I haven't come across any of those needy chick from the first game. Always asking for money and getting in the way of missions. although I have been in a number of fisticuffs with the guards.

And with most of the women in the game, you know what they are,
the next question is how much money will it take.

    Totally Awesome Game!

By all means, pass it on. I hope the company gave you guys bonuses, The game is a masterpiece [IMG] I'm addicted. Just went home for lunch, caught my girl in the middle of the game without me (which is a no no), but we bought a treasure map at one of the shops. All I could do is laugh, instead of enjoying my lunch, I'm arguing with my girl whether we should spend half of our money on a treasure map. Since this is the first time through the game, we have no idea whether the treasure map leads to any real treasure or whether we just wasted money [IMG]

I liked the first one... at first. Then it started to get repetitive. Ladon gave me some advice about turning off the HUD stuff so I could get more immersed in the game and that made me enjoy the game a lot more but I hope that AC2 has more variety in the missions and the levels. I do plan on getting it though... once the price goes down a bit, lol.

This doesn't make me want to buy it though [IMG]

I enjoyed the first AC quite a bit but it DID get a little repetitive. However, the interesting story made me keep going and it was worth it. The ending was very awesome.. very dramatic and climactical! I enjoyed the very well done merger of science fiction and historical fantasy! Good job guys!

From what I am hearing this should be even better! I most likely will just rent it though, because i have no money.. lol. Games are so pricey [IMG]

    Well Dr. Familia....

After riding the two bit horses in Kessen III, and the Samurai Warriors series and the Dynasty Warriors series,
You gain a certain appreciation for a well designed horse [IMG]

masterpo: serious question - how does it rate against say, Ninja Gaiden, Uncharted 2, or Arkham? (I'm thinking of picking up AC2, but I was disappointed by Gaiden, and never got to play the first AC, so "hesitant" would be a good word.)

I couldn't bring myself to play the first game for some reason, I borrowed it from a friend but had a feeling I wouldn't like the game at all so it just sat there for a few week till he came and got it back.
