well i only watched the latest vid but i can give the lau player some tips.

Expand your combo range
I know the p,b+p,p cmbo is dependable but thier more damaging combos for aoi.

Also when you blocked some of aio's strings yu didnt respond withan elbow.An elbow in that situaion can open your options up alot.

abcd thank you. I am not sure what you mean by more damaging combo. the p,4p,p have the highest damage from 4,6p. Lau 6p is not guaranteed for aoi because she has strong reversals. You can only 6p from guarded ppp2k. I am waiting for evade to 3pk.

Very nice matches!

Some notes about b,f+p combos (for all chars) that do more damage from black book:

Open stance: d+p,p,b+p,p (not akira)
Open stance: d+p, D_d/f+p,p,k (akira only)
Closed stance: ppp(delay)k

I tested this combo:

Open stance: d+p,p,b+p,p (not akira)

Actually it is closed stance and it will give you 1 pt more damage. To have the p,4p,p to hit you have to hold forward after the 2p.

Since most people list stances before the start of a combo, and Lau actually switch stances while doing b,f+p. So it is open-stance before single palm and closed after. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
I am spending some time trying to hit pppk after single palm. Some characters like wolf/jeff has no timing to it (easy), but for others like shun is insanely difficult.
