Okay so the last couple days have been kind of depressing for me in the world of Sarah play. Maybe I need to up my overall defense or maybe I need to learn how to deal with certain characters better, but overall I've been finding it difficult to get any good damage set ups with Sarah.

Well last nigth Ken I. was discussing a TR trap that Goatcheeseblues was doing to him and was pretty disgusting. So we spent probably from 1:00 AM to 3:30 AM trying to figure it out lol, I think we were unable to find it out exactly but we found some other cool stuff. Anyhow I decided to bring this up with other Sarah players so we can hopefully advance this further and build up Sarah's viablity in tournament play.

Neutral throw back stagger trap

CH FL/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif (from Kaminari Oyaji)
CH FL /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif out of FL, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif (light weights only)
CH FL /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif out of FL, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif (everyone else in closed stance)

If your opponent TR's in place they will have to block /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif which is +4 on block and leaves you in a good position in FL. At +4 you will MC them if they low punch with FL /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, if they use a move slower than 13 frames you can MC them with FL /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, it will also crouch stagger them which can lead to a follow up somersault if they fail to struggle out. Another good choice would be sidestep attack /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u.gif//forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif since you can catch a person who evades and hit a crouching a opponent given that he isn't very fast at recognizing the move.

Keep in mind if your opponent fails to block on in place TR, the double kicks will LAUNCH him. This is cause the first kick crouch staggers and the second kick proceeds to launch. I can't tell you what will combo if this happens at the moment, but I can almost assume a /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif will work for everyone.

Ken I, also said /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif will relaunch if someone fails to TR head forwards face down falls. Perhaps the combo for that is the same? If your opponent fails to TR the throw you can also easily confirm for a heavy down attack.

Theoretically this trap should be applicable for everytime your opponent TR's from a head forward, face down fall. So perhaps it is appicable to FL /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif and STEP /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. We tried for a little bit last night off a couple set ups but were unable to get /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif to track and back stagger. It was really late so maybe some of other players can test around and find a way to work.

Also, perhaps we can find other TR traps from stuff like MC /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif and FL MC /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. Or maybe we can modify bounce combos to set up for this. Well I'll leave it up to other Sarah players to put there input in.

Unsafe_Dan,
Good read and find. I found a little freetime to experiment with this and seems that there is alot of possibilities like this combo I posted below. Also, I would love to incorporate a wall splat move like 66K in to the combo, so it could net you the full:
(Wall Splat)-6P+KPK-(Large Down Attack) (46)

Light Middle Weight
P+G(OPPONENT TECHS UP/DOWN)-4P+K-3PK-6P+K,K(HITS WALL EVEN)-8P.
72 was my max damage at the moment. It's quite funny that you start at the center of the ring and this combo takes you all the way to the wall. When I get more freetime, I will post some more whacky backstagger combos.

Peace ^-^
