    BAM returns with Virtua Fighter 5 as an official tournament title!

    Hosted by Couchwarriors Battle Arena Melbourne is in its third year with an amazing new venue and a feature focus on all tournament titles with multiple projected screens, recording and stream.

    Australian VF players must not miss this - hit the BAM website to book your spot in the tournament and support the game! Players of all skill levels are welcome and casual play will be available.

    As an official tournament Virtua Fighter 5 players are vying for a championship trophy and cash prize pool.

    What?
    BAM (Battle Arena Melbourne) is a two day fighting game tournament and the largest of it's kind in Victoria.
    Our experienced tournament team will present a slick festival of fighting game play for social and the best competition across the most games of major fighting tournaments.
    Over 300 attendees from all over Australia will be vying for trophies and glory. The weekends events will be live streamed to over 10,000 viewers.

    Just wanted to let you guys know that I most likely will not be able to make this event. Being the Labour day weekend, the air fares are pretty ridiculous ($400+), and as much as I love to compete in VF, financially I find it hard to justify the expense.

    So barring any last minute appearances from my fairy god-sponsor, I'll be reluctantly bowing out of this one.

    Alternatively, if they can hook up via XBL then I'll be happy to play remotely!
