This past weekend, on October 14th, the 5th tournament in the Battle Audition Final Season was held in Nagoya (Tokai region of Japan). To determine the next group of Star Players, the winners of the battle audition tournaments will go through a series of round robin matches with the current Star Player roster at the end of this season.

49 players participated in the event. Many strong players from the Tokai / Chubu region represented their region-Chinobrad, Kozou, Penkiya-san, Yogo Kage, etc-while core VFers from Kansai (YOU, Hiragana de Jin, Hauru, etc) and Kantou (Shiwa, Yatsuki, Buster, etc) traveled to Nagoya for the single elimination tournament.

Tokyo Star Players - Fuudo (SH) and Kakurikon (AO) - were present and had kumite matches the previous day. Fuudo (SH) went 23-6 while Kakurikon (AO) went 28-1. Kakurikon's only lost was to another Star Player - Tomarion (LI). Other Star Players- Anaguma (JA) and Kanzen Nitaku (WO) - were present watching their fellow VFers compete.

In the Battle Audition tournament, the finalists were Tokai / Chubu area core VFers - Penkiya-san (LA) and Yogo (KA). Yogo Kage took first place defeating his teammate from VFR events and Tougeki (reached semifinals). After the tournament ended, Yogo Kage had exhibition matches against Kakurikon and Fuudo and was awarded the special title 鬼神 (kijin "fierce god"). One more Battle Audition tournament remains and will be played in the Kantou region in November!
