Team Unsafe_Dan and GoatCheeseBlues, the Sarah mirror match was awesome (understatement of the month [of June]). Those were some fun matches Dan, and I need to play GoatCheeseBlues next time. Expect an easy victory.

LA_Akira, your name is misleading, but you have an awesome Shun. That match we played was very enjoyable even if I ran out of steam after 2 rounds.

Tonight's event was definitely a success, with 4 setups and 8 VSHGs and everyone using different characters, it was a total blast. Thanks to all who made it so enjoyalble!

I'll provide more input when I'm awake!

 

Since no one seemed to bother we had a small single elimination 2v2 tournament. It was random selection of teams. Team PhoenixDth (alex) and Pushku (martin) that won it in the end. I believe Alex played Wolf and Vanessa and maybe one other character, Martin played Lion and Brad.

We didn't have a singles tournament as people wanted to free play more which was still fun.

SD Crew: It was so cool to see you guys improve so much in one day. You guys looked alot more smooth than you originally did. Solfizz and Sweep have a ton of potential you guys need to just work on it and you'll be good. Sebo, don't be so down on yourself, you just need to focus more on defending your wake up and being more aware of when to punish mistakes. You're really not bad. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Alex: I thought I was getting close to catching up to you when we played Wolf/AKira vs. Jacky/Sarach, but that last match vs. your Lei Fei told me otherwise. You're just a damn good player all around. Thanks for all the advice and knowledge too man. I hope you can find more time to play in your busy schedule cause I always feel I get better playing you.

Gerald: Sorry I've never been to your house, I will try to do something about that this thursday. We had some close matches in the tournament, but I just can't figure out Shun sometimes and your no tech rolling totally threw me off. Good games.

Ken I.: Damn your stupid Lei Fei, you and alex are like totally different and it kills me. You kage looks like it's getting better too, spam that gay ninja. As always cool games.

Shoo: First time I met you dude, you're not bad at all you just need to work more defense. I think a good defense is crucial for Goh. I'm suprised you knew so many follow ups. Try using Goh's stronger throws and catch throws. You'll finding winning a lot easier.

For everyone else that I know, awesome games. It feels like people are really getting a lot better as time flies. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif Can't wait for Yosuke and Myke to fly in.

 

Uh, I posted this in the wrong thread the first time, so here goes:

Last night was awesome guys, thanks so much for having us. I wish we lived a little closer so we could do that every week.

Special thanks to Brisal for hosting and for the defensive advice, GoatCheese for the tips (such a cool dude), and everyone else I played with and learned from.

Sat night was a blast, one of the best experiences ive had in playing fighting games.

it was really great getting to know everyone and getting my self alot of much needed practice.
