Battlefield 1943 XBLA July 8th @ 1200MSP anyone?

so a few guys from #VFHOME are gonna get this and have a great time (a hella nice game until battlefield bad company 2 comes out next year). anyone else planning to get this? if so, hang around #vfhome and come chill in our squad

I usually HAAAAATE console shooters cause of the lack of mouse and keyboard but these latest console versions of the battlefield series are alright! (Bf1943 for pc comes out on september )

omg! this game is so buggy, laggy, and whatnot! same with outrun online before on xbla - a no-go!

(btw, at the end leonard admitted he LOVED outrun in the end, and now cant stop playing it lol)

and yes he's lying about the game being buggy (he only played it for like 30 minutes) lol

Only thing is: you can't connect to any EA server at the moment, as they are all full ... (= can't play BF1942).

Quite a bad launch ...

I'll probably get it when I get back from America. It looks fun and I've got friends who want me to play it with them.

Also, did anyone see the Coral Sea challenge between the PS3 and 360 players? 43 million collective kills and the 4th map will unlock.

360: 4,550,495 kills
PS3: 41,284 kills

I can't see the PS3 winning the challenge somehow.

It doesn't look as bad now for the PS3 though. Yesterday there was a tally of about 2.2 million for the 360 and only 56 for the PS3.

Played the demo with a friend yesterday, was a lot of fun, especially the planes!

you can have so much fun parachuting onto the enemy aircraft carrier and causing havoc!
(although you get no points for kills as its technically spawn killing)

It was laggy at times for us aswell, but they're adding more servers due to overpopulation.

I tested the demo and then got the full game. I have to say that I have a strong dislike of FPSes, but this game was kinda fun. At least the first evening. I suck at aiming with the pad though.

I dont know how the private server would work like, I hear theres been some trouble getting it set up. I havent even tried it since my friendlist is almost all VF-players.

I know, but the game is pretty good for pick-up-and-play type of games. I started by using mainly snipers because aiming with pad is so hard..
