i panic'd a lot when i fought sof's wolf, lol. its scary...
after watching the movie, i see i missed a lot of command input, like throw escapes etc. need study how to fight other characters i guess, lol.

 

I had nice matches against your Kage and Jacky Ogi!!! I've learned alot during those matches and seeing them afterwards, I've learned more things. Now to study other characters frame data and work on my combos and most importantly defense.

You can never have enough defense in VF, so good luck with that Sof, be seeing you soon (and hoping to get my throw escapes consistent in time).

The matches are kinda poorly shot, next time I'll just save replays and cap it afterwards.

 

Thx for the videos Sof! Good games guys, some of the matches are really fun to watch lol. I like the match, where NgKrush did bounce then air throw on Vortigar, too good!

Some stuff i noticed while watching the vids, Vortigar and NgKrush u guys should try to evade more lol. and try to learn some basic stuff, things like how to escape after Akira's Catchy(g,8g,2g) etc. well, just keep playing the game and learn stuff little by little i guess. and if its possible play eachother more often. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Thats hella difficult to escape for me as well. I get hit this all the time by Ogi /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

My evades are mostly gone since I switched to stick, still can't get the hang of it. Good to know the actual commands to escape Aki's catch throw btw. ^_^ I was just mashing like hell. My tech roll timing to Jeff's overhead toss is also shot from evo to 5.

That last match of mine against NGK is so incredibly full of missed inputs its not funny btw (apart from those last two rounds, where I did get a tad lucky). My throws also fail on a regular basis since I switched controller. You can see me use a lot of vanilla P+G's, believe me, none were intentional.

I really need to get more hours in. Possibly get playing with Goh again to relearn the basics.

@ogi: yeah, right after i saw the vids i said to sof "do i always play that static?!" really need to work basics and reaction times a bit more
