Well, for one I think the best knife fight would have to go to the Hunted. I liked how they did the fight scene at the end, plus how they used the blood to really make you feel it, without going overboard. What other scene's do you guys think are great?

ugh okay you asked my opinion on good fights. not ones better than the one you mentioned ,but if you wanna be a prick dont let me stop you................

anyway the best kungfu scene ive ever seen in my life ( i have seen over 1000 kungfu films....really) is probly the end scene from 'the invinicble pole fighters' with fu sheng(RIP) and the
brilliant gordan lau, one of the last shaw film bros productions b4 they went bust. the end fight scene is INSANE. too many people fighting other people with sticks! ugh......heaven...............

Another one would have to be prodigal son. the application of the wing chun art is accurately shown. one of the only instances where this is so. not like that shit film called 'wing chun' with that stupid old woman from crouching tigger............

yea steven seagul movies are a bit of a mixed bag i guess. still, you gotta love it when he hits someone over the head with a frying pan and then stabs him with a butchers knife.

could have been a brilliant celebrity chef.

What about van Damme in Double Impact. Now that movie had some good shit in it. Nice action mixed with ass-whooping and some sex scenes on the side. You gotta love van Damme for his kickboxing skills, he knows how to use that good.

Heh, the title of this thread includes the word realistic.

I've watched lots of his movies. I think they suffer from "oh, you've totally beaten the shit out of me - now I'm REALLY mad and you're gonna lose since I have my 'second wind' action going on... plus really triumphant sounding music playing to give me inspiration."

I think it was Under Siege end fight, the one where Seagal pokes the guy's eye out, that I thought to be realistic. Seagal is big guy - comes in to fight the bad guy who is small and has no real fighting skills - beats his ass for 22 seconds - fight over. Realistic to me.

seagal also gets my vote for the most realistic sequences on film. his films are kinda lame overall, but hey, he's a quasi-Aoi.

I'm not a big fan of Steven Seagul movies either. In fact, I've never seen, or heard, of any of them.

However, I have heard of some guy named Steven *Seagal*. Wow...3 posts later and you guys are still spelling his name wrong. Simply amazing.
