BRAWL!!!

So what do you think about it? I just started playing since all of my friends had nothing to talk about but Brawl. How is the online play?

i have only played smash bros on nintendo 64 /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Im not sure about how good the online play is, since it`s on the wii I wouldnt have high expactations..

 

THe online is good. At the begging, it lags for a second and then runs smooth throughout. But if its really bad, it stops completly. So, I still play local multiplayer more with friends than go online.

 

One thing I've noticed about online is that you can't use wavebirds. Inputting commands on the controller will start to lag the match. it's a real drag, I had to get acquainted with the classic controller..

 

WOOT WOOT BRAWL is awesome, we should exchange wii friend codes so we can all play. I'll post mine up when my wii gets back from nintendo's factory.

 

Next Gen, is awesome!

 

Played it for the first time tonight. Once I remembered how Smash felt, felt right at home, even with playing new characters. Game was instant fun, I'm pretty impressed/pleased.

I just started playing it too and I like how it's easy to learn and where button-mashing is the game. I'm still getting the hang of it but it's pretty fun!

 

It's almost MVC2-esque in its speed and emphasis on set-ups and space control.

 

Yeh, game is mad fun. I've been playing it mostly offline though with friends. Cause pretty much EVERYONE plays Smash.

I play Ice Climbers and Samus.

 

It's the truth. Even at our gathering last night, on-lookers hopped in without knowing how to play at all lol.

I duno who I'm gona stick with mainly. Lot more characters I enjoy in this one than melee.

 

Let snake run up on Ike with that fancy chop sockey fighting and see if I don't smack him back to Metal Gear 1.

I was either a Wii or Xbox 360 this year for Christmas...now I'm kinda regretting it.

The game sounds like loads of fun though.

 

Are you serious? This is the first time my Wii has seen this much attention since the kids got their hands on Wii Sports. That thing has been collecting dust for months.

In the meantime, my 360 is ready to explode from the 8+ hours a day it gets abused. You're missing out on one game. Now get over it and go play one of those great 360 games.

 

How about: Mario Galaxy? Zelda? Metroid? Paper Mario 2? Now Smash is out and Kart will be coming out in a couple months. I would trade my (broken) 360 in a heartbeat. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif
