breaking clinch

i have no idea how to break out of vanessa's takedown hold nor brad's clinch. can someone tell me how? i searched the site but couldn't find anything.

 

Usually, you can find that info in command lists, but it's not in there yet...

You need to hold a direction + throw escape.
Like any other throw, if Brad tries to send you forward, you must hold forward ( if you are on 2P side)++.
With Brad it's either front, back, neutral.

I think Wolf is the same as Brad.

Goh can send you in all 4 directions. You only need to hold a direction, you don't need P+G.
If you think he will try to send you over there, you hold the stick this way.

Aoi's chain throw is broken by or (++), not or .

Vanessa is either front, back, or neutral.

With Aoi and Vanessa you don't really worry about positioning, you instead worry about how much damage they will try to inflict.
