Buggy Puzzle Fighter for GBA

At long last after what seemed like an eternity to wait Crapcom manages to ship Super Puzzle Fighter and it has some bugs.

In Street Puzzle mode it can freeze up and crash, and it happened to me once during Arcade mode. When its not crashing it is alot of fun. But be forwarned the bugs could spoil your fun.

Also for 2 player mode you can "share" a GBA. Or if you both own the game and GBA and a link cable you can play. I can't believe after all this time and they have no single link mode play.

Stil the bugs are a black mark on Crapcom's record and Nintendo's.

 

I'll just stick with my PSX version then.

 

That just sucks. I want to take Puzzle Fighter on the road; why should I have to deal with lousy playtesting? There's a few GBA ports that turned out less than stellar, and I was hoping this one would be better.

I have contacted Capcom US and actually recieved a response about it. If anybody does manage to pick up a bad copy, write this guy who responded to me. Also let him know if your using an SP or regular GBA.

I can assure you that many hours of testing was put into this game. We have just begun to hear reports about this game. Here at Capcom, we have not been able to reproduce any of these problems with the retail copies that we have here. So we are still unsure if it's just a manufacturing problem in some GBA's or if it's in all. I don't think that it is in all copies because there are many customers that are not having problems with the game at all. We are still looking into the issue and I will contact you when we figure out what is going on and what we can do about it.
