I like the idea of the tournament hold it in a comic shop. I think another great place to hold it would be a card shop. There not to corporate so I think they don't go all crazy with retarded rules and what not. Other people should take note and try to hold tournaments at places like this. Oh yeah great matches all around too!!!

 

It was good, and definitely fun, but a little chaotic. For example, the owner was persuaded to allow re-buys in the finals by the fact that he'd make more money... Definitely a good atmosphere, though. I would definitely do it again.

Mostly, it's the people that make or break these things... luckily NYC is a good crowd.
