Man I've hated cable pullers ever since Xband for SNES. I asked one guy why he pulled and he said something like "I only cable pull on cheap players. I'll pull if you throw more then 3 times in a match, or if you do more then a 4 hit combo, or if you spam the same move over and over. You must have done one of these things. I play the game to have fun, and playing people who play cheap like this isn't fun." I swear some people are too dumb to play these games.

I'll be sure to list any cable pullers I find. Btw, doesn't Xbox let you avoid people like that so you'll never be matched with them again, or do you just have to remember their names yourself?

 

You can file a complaint about them in their Xbox Live profile, or simple click on: "Avoid this player", so that match-making-wise the chances are low that you play together (ever again).

It's a shame, that there are still such bad losers out there. It's not about winning or losing - it's about perfection ...

 

I figure this wouldn't be as bad an issue like it is with Madden or Halo 3. Bleh. I'd just file a complaint and submit a player review to avoid them in the future.

 

What pisses me off are the detrimental effects on your $400 + dollar investment due to misconduct such as cable pulling.

 

I'm pretty sure it doesn't damage your machine.

 

Just another word of warning, make sure you change your controls on the 2P side as well. I went up against someone in my first online match, and was on the 2P side. I was stuck with 2P controls, despite my arcade stick being lit up as Player One. I had to quit the match to get my controls switched. Of course, the guy sent me a message saying I suck since I quit, and I responded by telling him my controls were messed up, let's play again.

Haven't heard from him since.

 

had a cable puller called "decau" yesterday. On a rank up as well. What's most annoying is that it takes you ages to get back into the menu after some dimwit pulled the cable.

 

ive learned a valuable lesson today. Do not play random people from now on

 

Shafoniq just pulled on me. He played Lau. First time it's happened on this game. He has a record of like 120 - 20. I bet it should be more like 120 - 200.

 

You can't complain about me in this thread, I'm on wireless.

 

Happened to me a couple of times and I simply jumped out of the ring three times and gave them the win. (Along with a message of course so they didn't think I was completely retarded)

 

Make sure to configure your player 2 to have the save button config as you do for your player 1.

Your post makes it look like TexasLion does this. He's talking about people he's run into - not himself.

 

Some whack MC named Zeromancer who plays Pai, high record too like 120-40 or something, got beasted by me 2 rounds then poof, third round DCd lol. Normally I don't brag or boast, but no holding back against scrubs like this I guess lol.

Anyway, enough of that rant, just added him to avoided list and that's that. Props to everyone else though, he's the only one who have disconnected. And others who've used their mic have been real nice.
