Central Jersey ex-VF'er.. re-visiting this forum after 4 years!

Hello everyone!! I don't know how many people out here still remember me. I was the Kage player in Central Jersey who had joined a few gathering many years ago in NYC (around 2002). Glad to see there are still so many people loving this game. The last version of VF I have played is VF4 evo on my own PS2. Never played human vs human on this version.

Is there anyone in this forum near me? I would like to get an update of what is going on in the VF world now. I know VF5 is coming to PS3. Is it in any arcade in NY?

NYC VF is still active but there is no arcade scene at the moment. I will keep you posted on upcoming events in NYC. You can also check on updates on the NYC thread.

We plan to have a gathering soon to sendoff one of our greatest players Kazu as he goes back to homeland of Japan for good. I'll let you know when it comes around.

Well I have some free time in February and a little in March, after that its my heavy work season so I will not be around until November.

Heh heh, I might have played Akira. Very doubtful though. That was probably Rodney(Konjou Akira) you were thinking about.

I would never have picked Kage back in those days, but I'm leaning towards picking him up in the future. I think I was working on Vanessa and Lei-Fei in the early VF4 days. Anyway, hope you can get back into the scene and play against you soon.

Been a while since I visited this place... Anyways VF5 is around the corner and my old SC crew ()at least the ones who have forsaken SC3) seem to be really interested in learning VF5. Im sure were gonna get a weekly gathering and Ill be sure to post it up here... Hope to see you all again sometime soon

Finally got arcade sticks that work on PS3... that took a bit of doing and some soldering magic from JAxel but were finally good to go... interested parties post up and Ill contact you individually (Already got in touch with rowell)
