1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

Clarification between Arcade and Console items????

    Hi,

I've been a fan of VF for years but I just got into VF 5 when I bought it on 360. My question is this, everyone tells me its version C, and until comming here yesterday I was under the impression that meant it had all the Version C items. I'm reading on here that that is not the case, can someone please explain that in more detail. I believe 360 owners get more items than PS3 version (a friend of mine with PS3 port says he saw items he hadn't seen before when he saw my 360 version). Yet guys on here are saying "Sega screwed up and didnt get us stuff etc etc" So i'd just like to know how it all works. Did 360 owners get like an initial set of Version C items that were in that game when it hit arcades last June and then newer items were released later via VF.net servers or something for arcade ops. Or did Sega just not give us any Version C items and gave us new items they made exclusive for 360, or did we get some and not all, and the download packs (which we really unlocked), were those Version C items or were they just console exclusive? where do they fit in???????

    Thanks for your help!

Xbox 360 version, the character moves and game system is version C.

The items available in 360 version is not unique to the arcade. The items available in 360 version are version B items (some of which are not found in PS3 version).

The ability to swap costumes (A, B, C, D) is a feature from version C; however, the 360 version is limited on what costumes can be switched.
