console league matchups

Would u ppl be willing to pay £3 to play in a basment-style enviroment with 5 consoles made up of mainly beat em up titles? One of those titles will be VF4 Evo. There will be a new league system. Times will be between 11AM - 7PM every Saturday in Central London. Bring your own arcade sticks or pads.

If trials work out, then we could be handing out prizes every month or so, like a game of ur choice of under £50 or something.

Well as long as the basement aint hot, we actually recive the prize money (dont end up like Ryan heart) and the scoring thing is done properly i dont see why not.

...I just got into VF4 (finally) and have Evo on console to practice. So this'll probably be my first time playing it with the regulars.

Hmm prize money is a no-no, since I don't have a gambling licence nor will I fork one out for it. I don't have 10 grand a year to spend on it.

That's why i suggested a game of your choice worth under £50. That's just a suggestion though, since I dont even know if I've got the venue on a semi-permanent basis.

meh, the majority of VF guys probably wont show, so i dunno if it's worth playing leik 3 people max.

 

To tell you the truth, this wont be a Dynamic League event at all. But instead a completely different league altogether.

 

Well if it's a non DL event why do i have to go to the Dynamic league site to retrive info? Anyway you've got a new system, what is it? i hope it's none of that fucked up dragon ball z power rating crap because the main reason why a lot of players stayed away is because of the scoring system.
