Customized buttons for online matches

As I play with an arcade stick, the default button configuration is placed strangely on my stick and I have changed the button configuration to better suit my hands. This works for every mode on VF5 for my 360 except Online Mode.

Why is it that Online Mode automatically switches back to the default button configuration and is there any way to bypass it? I have the buttons set up to function according to tournament specs, I have just moved the button configuration so I can easily access my punch, kick, and guard. But since this changes when going online, I can't fight knline matches properly.

Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone know what can be done about it? IF they release VF5 Final Showdown on consoles, hopefully this problem will be remedied.

Yea, its a really stupid thing Sega did. There are separate button assignments for starting on the left side and right side. Just go into button config and make sure BOTH sides of the screen look correct.

Its a one-time problem, really.
