dealing with Pai

How do you guys deal with pai's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif? I haven't figured out too many ways to get around it any ideas?

 

Block it and you have +13, you have at least a guaranteed PK. It is also linear so you can just evade it on both sides. This informations is available in the command list.

 

I know I could look on the command list to look at the frames or if it was linear or not, I'm trying to spark disscusion about character specific stratagies. On that note it can be delayed like czy though I would be hessitent to evade it always as a mater of course. I don't remember or not but I think it forces you to crouch on block ? That always made me thing I was at disadvantage. I don't have the game so can't confirm this.

 

The first part of the string is special high, you can crouch it but your low attacks will lose to it. The 2nd hit is just a regular mid P.
