Detroit area myself and willing to play. It seems there are a lot of us hiding out and about. I know at least 3 other people in the area who would be interested as well.

yeah we all need to get together sometime. It may be out of the way, but there is a place out in Canton that is a retro game store/game center that would be a nice meet up place to maybe host some tournaments (which they do regularly with other games) I may talk to the owner and even see if they may be able to set up streams if people are interested.

 

Not sure if you guys are still looking, but tomorrow is our regular "Mitten Masher Monday" casuals at Alter Ego Bar/Lounge in Detroit. We usually try to start up around 6 or 7 and go to 12-1am. This might be the last week for them for a bit though, since we won't have the venue due to monday night football coming back into play. We play everything, literally. VF not an exception at all, either.

I would actually run a VF session at my house if you all want. Im at 11 and Dequindre, right off 75 and 696.

 

Canton is about all the same distance for all of us to go to there, but I don't even have a car so it would be an inconvenience for me. Maybe when I'm older or if I get lucky with asking my parents, but ya. That would be awesome if we could do that!

 

Really trying to push to start playing locally now... I sent almost everyone here that has typed in this forum a chat invite but I ran out of room to invite anyone else. Hopefully I can get someone to notice and get something started or to join a group of offline VF players.

 

I've been mad busy since late July, and will continue to be up through winter with very few breaks in between. I hope to reach some spots to play offline around spring time of next year, but no guarantees as of yet.

This is the new spot for out gaming sessions on Monday. We will start bringing a dedicated set up for Virtua Fighter 5 as well as various other games played 9AE, Marvel, TTT2, Injustice).

Had a buddy go there and they was playing was sffv n tt2 but if they bring vf I will come.

 

Its a good spot regardless, but if you plan on going up there let me know and I'll give the VFers a heads up.
