Anybody getting Diablo 3 here?

Would be cool to set up some VFDC raids!

Great game though, very dumbed down but at the same time some very positive changes from D2.

 

I got it. My Blizzard Tag is Tricky and would love to play with VFDCers on there. It's going to keep me occupied until FS drops.

 

I don`t mind about Diablo III or pc gaming in general but Blizzard makes beautiful trailers!

I think the better question here is why I'm quoted as sudden.

Game is dumbed down: Bnet 2.0 (ROFLMAO!!!) Auto attributes, limited amount of skill bindings (action bar), no attribute requirements for equipment, build skill doesn't matter anymore because everything unlocks by character level now, the social aspect got dumbed down severely and among other things.

However, like I said D3 is a awesome game because a lot of improvements have been made from D2 as well and I find myself addicted like the old days.

My only big complaint is that D3 and FS release dates are too close and when FS comes out D3 has to go to the back-burner for some time.

 

My brother is planning to get one. =D I've played D2. My character was Assassin. too bad that in D3, only the Barbarian remained plus new characters. I still want to play it though.

 

Do you have enable elective mode on? You can decide which abilities you can actually use that way isntead of being stuck with the default skill groups. YOu can have 2 secondary attacks and no primary and what not. You don't get locked into a build anymore and can switch on the fly based ont he situation.

I have a dungeon crawling build and a sepearte build I use on bosses, which I think adds depth. You wouldn't be able to do that in D2, you'd just have to go comit to a skill tree and hope it didn't suck.

Im playing this for the first time, and I've never played a diablo. I'm still trying to figure out everything, I'm playing a monk, but the wizard looks really interesting.

So to you guys that actually know a thing or two, what can I get out of this game that I won't get somewhere else?

Countless hours of undead smashing! Honestly, that's all it is. It's just that Blizzard does so damn well at making it just feel right.

That and it can be really challenging. Me and a few friends are in Hell difficulty and just one yellow spawned mob can ruin your day. It's the challenge and the randomized loot that keeps me coming back. I'm a sucker for item drops, always have been.

After playing for nearly 80 hours of D3 now and 8000 hours in D2, I can confidently say... What a bullfuck game. Severely disappointed, now I'm going to spend the rest of my time preparing for fs...
