I have major problems with these three characters in particular. Maybe this thread can give advice on which tactics work best in certain matchups.

Shun Di- His wildly varying strikes are unpredictable and surprizingly damaging. His throws do a ton of damage too. I tend to focus on blocking low against him, but then he immediately launches me.

Kage - His main strikes seem to have priority over mine, and his spinning moves make evading difficult. I find that I can almost NEVER throw him because he recovers so quickly from his strings.

Wolf - His quick high strikes seem to be better than Jeff's, and his low game is also probably better. I try to keep my distance from him, but his pokes seem to me to be just as good as Jeff's as well. He's also a little faster than Jeff across the board IMO.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Shun: Do not give him range, and do not give him chances to drink the drinks do really count when you face a decent Shun, be wary of powerful attacks like PP2KK at 6 drinks and FF P+K at 8 drinks(also try to block this move and punish, it's a majorly punishable moves for shun and there's a while running version that requires no drinks, keep it in mind), they can be easily get and are very powerful moves if you let them get it. Try to learn to get out of his regular throw, as it will destroy his drink reserve. Whenever you see a kick(B K) watch out for two things: if he does not lay on the ground, rush him or he will do a very strong, but slow stun which staggers if blocked. (Block if the mid kick stuns you I suppose, or just move back from it if you don't want the risk of being hit by the stun.). And if you see him go to low kick just get away from him until he rises back to normal.

When i'm playing Jeffry, my worst match-up are vs poker and people who use fast recovery move. I must then rely on LP a lot and that's not what i like. So characters like Brad, Eileen, Vanessa (offensive), Sarah and Lion are a threat for me.

    Against Shun Di - /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif

Against Kage - Block a move, then /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif

Against Wolf - You're both big characters with slow recovering moves, but Jeffry has /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif

Step to his back to beat /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, to his stomach to beat his /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif.

    Against Akira:

*I've found that a back dash /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif>/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif vs. many of his moves works really well due to the lack of strings and range he doesn't have.

*Threat /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif, being a catch throw, can also eat through attacks so if timed correctly will eat /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif(catch throw connects before=)/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif.

*Against Akiras thatuse /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif when at disadvantage, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif is a godsend (hate that word) and will MC him.

*Mix in /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif (for a monster float), /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif delays, and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif if the Akira player uses reversals a lot.

*Mash /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif to beat his two best throws. Break /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif when the edge/wall is to his back or die.

*/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif works very well against Akiras that like to bust out /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif at disadvantage (it will duck under many of your MIDS though, I've seen it beat my /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif)

There's more, but I'm forgetting it

Back dash /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif. It'll scare Akira from throwing out attacks.

Nah, I think its backdash /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif. On long range hit, follow up with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif pounch. On guard Jeffrey is at -3 so just fuzzy. You use it alot on me.

    /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif x infinity.

You use /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif on me way more than /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif! Please use /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif more!
