Hello, this is a marketing study.

I'm thinking about making a DVD with almost, if not all, 150 vids from the SoCal event that happened in August and September of 2007. Each vid is about 30mb.

I want to see if any of you would pay $20+shipping for this DVD plus a printed list of the fights that includes photos from the event. The DVD is simply a collection of all the vids as individual files (it's a data DVD). It has no selection screen nor is it playable as a movie DVD.

Here is one of the fights. Download this to see the quality of file you'd be getting.

    Thank you.

What would the money go towards? (Honest question, would affect my answer)

I would keep the money in exchange for the hours spent recording and encoding the vids. It would also cover the time taken to design and print the Content List (which will include photos taken during the event).

As the poll states, the vids are already free on YouTube. The money anyone spends is a way to say thanks and get a little more in return (high resolution fights and a keepsake printout).

So, is a DATA DVD? BTW, of topic here, how are you going to record the 360 ones?

Yes - it is a data DVD. I'll make that clearer in the first post.

I'll record any forthcoming 360 matches the same way I recorded PS3 as far as I know - plug console into camera, play replay, and record.

    awesome! =) I'd be honored.

Plague, for someone like me, who is primarily on dial up, a DVD of your vids is very tempting... I simply don't have the time to DL youtube vids.

I'd very well pay for this. The quality is good if you consider that there are about 150 vids (!) on the DVD. Plague, would you accept PayPal as well?

EDIT: Didn't see the initial post was this old ... Is the DVD still purchasable?

I guess you'll need to charge a bit more if us Foreign Folk would like one, cause of shipping. I'll definitely have one but could you work out how much it would cost for me, pleasey Plague.
