1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. I got a problem yesterday on entering a post. The following happened: when the site showed, the background was black, and there was some computer language-ish writing all over. I tried to PM Myke, but I haven`t got an answer yet, so would anyone know what has happened?

This error results from too many simultaneous queries in MySQL, it happens sometimes. When it does, just wait until the site goes back to normal; there's nothing you can do anyway .

Why don't they do something about that? I have a great connection, but this site fucks up a lot. It is annoying. What's the deal mods?

Essentially we've outgrown the host. As GLC posted, this limit on the number of simultaneous connections is set and controlled by our provider, and unfortunately is set unreasonably low (IMO). What really brings the forums (and the site) down is when search bots start to crawl the site, and that occurs on a daily basis.

Anyway, I've been asking ice-9 who owns this domain to switch to another provider for a while now but I believe he's locked into a contract with them and must see the year out. But I'm reaching boling point myself and just may move everything under another name. I don't know...

    Any comments ice-9?

What if we provided donations? Would that help at all?

You could prevent robots from crawling the search using the robots.txt file in your root directory.

I've had a robots.txt file in place for a long time now, but it apparently doesn't seem to have much effect.
