To enter the tournament you must register online here. Evo East registration page

Right now there is a $20 cover charge for the event and $10 tournament fee for each game. You may pay via online or at the door.

The cover charge cost may go up if you do not register soon, so don't put it off. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

Re: Evo East:The East Coast Championships 5/25-27,

Since the preliminary rounds start on Friday 5-25 and the finals start on Sunday 5-27, some might look into renting a room at the hotel. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Hotel info: (copied and pasted from Evo East page)

Book a Room at The Westin Stamford Hotel
We have reserved a discounted room block at The Westin Stamford at a discounted rate of $105 for a single or double room. Staying in the same hotel as the tournament is the best way to enjoy Evo. Evo is an all day, all weekend event, so even if you're a tri-state area native we strongly recommend booking a room. To reserve your room, call The Westin Stamford reservations at (203) 967-2222 and ask for the special rate for "Evolution 2K." To get the special rate, you must make your reservation before May 3rd, 2007

Userbase is still too small. The game didn't sell very much on the PS3.

Yup, Cla was a no show. I was able to play his friend Joe in the tourney. He was okay. Joe definitely lacks experience playing with people.
