Favorite Poses

"Another Brilliant Post", as I looked for this theme, and no one talked about it.

Which before-match pose is the best? And the worst?
Which winning pose is the best? And the worst?

I think the best br-pose is Lei-fei's "aaahhhh" one. The worst one is probably Wolf's: "Shut Up, Just come on.." that if added to Jacky's "Come oooon!!" before hand looks kind lame..

The best Winning Pose (and I haven't seen every pose) is imho Brad's "checkmate" (really stylish). On the other hand he has the worst winning pose in the whole game: "You! WIN?! Think again.." doing the lamest coreography ever seen in a game..

Best pre-match: Kage jumping in from exactly where?
Best post-match: Goh when he kicks the shit out you. Damn sadistic bastard.

 

Actually "Shut up, just come on" is twice as stylish when said after the poses with " * come on * ".
About the lamest win pose - it's either Vanessa's "Fight again?" or "You're all talk - you can't remeber that technique" when her choreography seems like a parody of Lion's Evo new win pose "Why don't you sleep on it".

 

I'm usually too eager to start the next match to worry about the win pose part, but sometimes it's a nice way to punctuate a match. Akira's "pole dance" win pose (the one) is ridiculous & stupid & HOT all at the same time. Jacky's "Don't think, FEEEEEEEL" pose makes me laugh too.

Incidentally, for awhile there Richard would key in Lau's old win pose (the "waga koen ken..." one) and say "Tell'em about Koen Ken Lau" right before the win pose started. He's gotta start doing that again...funniest shit ever.

Actually it's "favourite" /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif. The fact that everyone has their own preference doesn't mean that people who like wasting their time cannot have fun discussing it.

No the WOST winning pose is when Vannessa after winning a match does a roll with her imaginary gun and say "Got it, I'm moving into position." I was like, WTF is she talking about?!?! Into what position exactly is she moving into?? Stupid Beeutch.

Yeah.I agree!! She is like the fish out of water!!!

 

My favorite win pose goes back to VF3... get an "Excellent" with Akira, and he swings both arms wildly in the air, then looks down at the camera (which then zoomed in) with this crazy look in his eyes and goes, "oh-SAAAAAAAAH!!!"

He just looked like he was ready to just demolish people.

 

I think the best win pose is Lau's, where he points his thumb at his balls and says "have some of my towel curry". Whatever that means.

And the one where Jeffy does a head stand and then waves his arms like he's having some sort of epileptic seizure.

I guess this is the "outta my way" one? I never would've come to that conclusion as practically all of Vanessa's winning poses make her seem mean in general.

 

The "I'm moving to Position" Pose--> ROCKS BIG FAT TIME. I love the camera zoom in and out =)
Both that and Brad's Checkmate are the Best /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

 

In opinion i think that lion, jeffry, and wolf have the lamest poses, and they suck, but thats my opinion. But i think all of gohs poses are my faves, hes just so wierd and scary, i think they did the best job on him. Ohhh yeah and all of cages new win poses, are coreographed very well, he does hella cool flips and rolls and says either "ware ni tecki nashi" or "ten ka mu so"
