FS Anger Management

I'm like that mild-mannered Bruce Banner usually but FS makes me Hulk-rage like nothing else, lol. A diet high in sodium is bad for health, and the immediate environment it seems; so far I've busted 2 PS3 controllers and put a hole in the living room table thanks to FS induced salt-rampages. I know there are some other salty bastards out there!

What collateral damage have you caused? lol

 

Last week I tossed my stick onto one of those big plastic storage containers that was on the floor nearby. The lid of the container broke. I was playing 3S that time, but VF usually makes me angrier. Could've been either game that day.

I don't think I even enjoy playing fighting games anymore. After Xrd, I probably won't buy another.

 

I will be holding FS-Rage management courses next month, apply by eating a few of my scrubby 9K's,
receive a few long walls-of-text polite psn messages and then we will take it from there! ; )

 

I only get mad when I play Marvel I "accidentally broke 2 controllers".

 

I broke a few hori sticks.. and a air condition.. some plastic cups. Bed head board from punching it lol

 

A few months after I started playing this game I slammed a pad down. Bilal .

When I'm getting really salty now I just take a break.

 

I have broken one PS3 pad and a vase. But most of the times, I'm more like Bruce Banner and less than Hulk, even though it kinda feels refreshing to act like the green monster from time to time

 

It is sad about the controling-devices dying everywhere - but i guess this is the hard and rough path for those that do not vent their frustration by sending mature messages to the other players full of spite, sillyness and hundreds of reasons why it is the other persons fault how the fight went ; )

It takes a heavier personal toll probably, but it is at least a that better then rage-mailing in the longer run, you just need to find a way to get your precious devices out of harms way, or remove yourself from it fast enough when the inner demon awakens : )

I can recommend breaks here and there when things have been tough, either going very well for long or the opposite. I choose to have mine in the form of smokes on the balcony, while pondering wtf what just happened - but poisoning the lungs might not be the best strategy for everyone.

 

It is very, very stupid to send hate messages to other players. 99,9% of the times, the other player is giving his best performance and you are not. VF is all about respecting your fellow players.

Anyway, I don't have something against controllers, but the truth is that I can't afford to break the console, so tossing the controller is the obvious choice for me

 

How did you guys wreck your controllers?

I Taka-stomped one of them (actually it was probably closer to a Jeff-stomp, LOL), and powerbombed the second one...YO, I WAS MAAAAD

FS isn't anywhere near as salt inducing as Marvel. I guess it's a sign off maturity that I don't rage like I would when I was younger and now see all losses as something to learn from.

That said, I quit Marvel in the interest of my cardiovascular health and sanity.

Edit: lol at me being a "new member", since I have over 200 posts and have been registered for over a decade. How odd.

 

I'm sure the children who live below me have learned a lot of profanity when I lose at FS...

 

yo i'll never understand throwing your stick and wreaking it man. The worst I can do is stand up and say "that's some ol bull shit" but I firmly grab my controller.

 

No one will never know and might not believe it, but i get my bursts of displeasure and angst due to miscalculation aswell.
Usually i just utter some random word (sometimes in what i call my fake-japanese) of anger.

Then i head out for a quick smoke and reflect on either why i suck so much, or why fate is such a bitch, and hopefuly i find a way around the current issue when i get back inside,
returning as a mentally stronger man yet again : )
