1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. Anyone here use this?
A few questions about it for anyone who does use it:

    1. First of all from the youtubes i've seen on this it's not quite clear to me. After you do the fuzzy and then the mid do you have to wait and watch the opponents reaction and then ONLY press guard if they do a mid? Or do you press guard regardless and you will still attack so long as they are throwing?

    2. Do you start off the game using it? I don't mean do you start rounds using it, as that would be dumb. Rather do you do option selects as soon as you fuzzy and wait to be chased off of it, or do you start with standard fuzzy guard and progress to option select only after seeing your opponents reactions?

    3. Are there any other standard option-selects that every character has like this? I know there are character specific ones--goh's p sabaki/throw escape, jean has some combo option select that somebody posted, don't quite remember who, i'm guessing brad could option select with his K sabaki Knee raise. But are there any more universal option selects?

    Thanks to anyone who responds.

    That's fine.
However we need more discussion on the forums, not less. So i don't regret posting this in the least. Next time i have a question i will gladly make a new thread for it as well :)

Part of being a community is helping one another. Heaven forbid there be a new thread on the forums! That could ruin our streak of only 10 or so posts a day. The site is too stagnant as it is.

Not really aimed at you unicorn, btw. Others have made similar comments to about a different thread i made. Anwyho, just stating here why i make new threads rather than use the search function.

I may have used the function eventually, but i worked it out in dojo and have been option selecting people since.

Thank you for linking the thread all the same.

You should create new threads for new topics to be discussed.

Creating new threads for simple questions which have been discussed already doesn't help the community, it only helps YOU.

Continue topics of interest where they belong and the community becomes better involved and informed.
